Not sure if you noticed but we’re quickly approaching the end of 2023! And what do you usually do at the end of a year? Yeah, you take a moment and think about how the last year went! And what better way for us to recap on 2023 than show you the impressive stats of our year!

And remember, we only just got started in March of 2023, so we’re basically still at the veeeery start!

So let’s dive right in with a stat overview!

Community

From our inception in March 2023, we have managed to grow our user basis to a community of an impressive 44,400 Silencio App users!

Silencio is by now represented in more than 175 countries around the world!

That's 90% of all the countries worldwide!

Data Collected (Daily)

Our community collects 6 million data points daily…

…which results in 5.7k daily measurements!

Summing up to a total of 35,300 minutes of measurements per day!

The total duration of measurements conducted equates to 30.6 Years!

Our community has covered an area with measurements larger than 1.3 Billion sqm!

And for some more numbers and stats:

Up until today, we have been posting 456 posts on our Twitter and were able to grow our following to ca. 3,400 followers (all organically btw!)
Right now, there are 2,083 members in our Discord-server and 30% of those are in our Discord already longer than 6 months!
We started this newsletter with 300 subscribers and grew it to now 512 Silencio Newsletter Subscribers!

We really can’t wait for what’s going to happen in 2024 and crush those numbers in comparison!

The Silencio New Years Challenge! 🎉

It started! And we are more than happy with your reactions! The first ever Silencio New Year’s Challenge has officially started on December 11th and will go until January 11th!

How to win?

Collect and generate as many Noise Coins in the next 4 weeks as possible. The top 10 collectors will win. Everyone is starting from 0. We only count the Noise Coins collected within this 4-week timeframe.

How to best collect Noise Data?

Earn Noise Coins by covering and discovering Hexes!

Per Hex Covered: 0.25 Coins
Per Hex Discovered: 0.5 Coins
Per Minute measured: 1 Coin until Jan 1st, 2024
Per Minute measured: 0.5 Coins starting Jan 15th, 2024

What about Referrals and Check-ins?

You should definitely make use of the boosts we created! Increase your score with referrals and check-ins!

For each referred friend using your individual invite code, you will earn 3% of your referrals’ earning
For every check-in you do, you collect an additional 20 Noise Coins

And now about the prizes!

We’ve put together quite a big package which will be distributed amongst the winners! In total, 1 ETH + 1,000 USD worth of KREST token is up for grabs. At the current time, this is worth more than 3,000 USD in total!

We will distribute the prizes as follows:

Referral Contest Recap & Results 🏆

You’ve hopefully heard about this one! At the end of November we successfully finished the first ever Referral Contest! You guys really did your best and invited a huge load of new Silencio Users! So it’s time a for a little recap!

The idea behind the Referral Contest was pretty simple - We wanted to make use of the power and network of our community and reward you guys for it!

So the task to all participants was to invite as many awesome folks as possible in the 5 days of the contest using the individual Silencio referral code. The contest then took place between 27.11. and went until 02.12.

However, we wanted to ensure that bot invites do not count, so invited users had to make at least 2 measurements to be counted as valid invites!

And some of you really outdid yourselves!

The users with the most invites and subsequently the winners were:

“sawdickwest” with an impressive 169 referrals

“FireHustle” with a solid 154

“Rayl” with a commendable 58

“cryptokid” with a notable 46

“LUPRINI” with a respectable 37

Each winner received $50 from us as a token of appreciation! In total we were able to onboard more than 1,500 new Silencio App users during this period which really shows the dedication and activity of our community!

For those of us celebrating christmas, we know that sometimes you might want to have some me-time amongst all the family business, food-coma, unpacking presents and all the buzz.
